Privacy
Van Ring (“we”) provides the service. This page explains what we collect and why.
What we collect
- From you: business name, city, mobile number and anything else you type into our forms or email us. If you select a business search result, we save its name, address text and place ID.
- From calls: when the phone assistant answers a call for a business, we handle the caller’s phone number, what is said, a transcript, a summary, the call time and length, and, where recording is turned on, the audio.
- Payments: when you start a subscription, Stripe collects and stores your card details. We do not see or store full card numbers. We keep Stripe customer, subscription, invoice and payment references.
- Basic site data: technical logs and the page or campaign that brought you here.
How we use it
- To set up and run the service, answer calls and send the business a record of each call.
- To count answered-call time, report billable usage to Stripe, collect payment and resolve billing disputes.
- To fix problems, prevent abuse and improve the service.
- To contact you about your request or account.
We do not sell personal information.
Who handles it for us
We use service providers to run Van Ring. They process data only to provide their service to us. They include Twilio (phone numbers, calls and recordings), Stripe (payments), Cloudflare (hosting and our database), voice and language-model providers (to turn speech into text, understand it and reply), and our customer-records and email tools. We may also share information if the law requires it.
Demos and business search
For callback demos, Twilio checks the type of phone line to help prevent abuse. We cache that result against a hashed phone number for 30 days. During a demo, we may save the business details you give us. If you say yes to a signup-link text, we save the call reference, the time, and a short transcript of your agreement. The text contains the signup link, not marketing.
When Google Maps business search is available and you type into it, your search text is sent to Google. Its handling of that information is described in the Google Privacy Policy. You can use a plain business name instead of selecting a result.
Account access on your device
Your browser keeps signup progress and account access for the current tab. If you choose to remember your account on a personal device, it saves access in that browser for 30 days. This option is off by default. You can remove the saved access from the account page or by clearing this site's browser data.
Your private account link opens your call records and billing controls, so keep it private. Removing access from a device does not cancel your subscription or disable a copy of the link saved elsewhere.
Calls and recordings
The assistant tells callers it is automated. Calls may be recorded and transcribed. The business that uses Van Ring is responsible for telling its callers and for following the recording-consent laws that apply to it. If you call a business that uses Van Ring and do not want to be recorded, say so or hang up and call another way.
How long we keep it
We keep information only as long as needed to run the service, calculate usage, meet legal and accounting needs and resolve disputes. You can ask us to delete your information or a call record. We may keep what the law requires or what we need for billing, accounting and an active dispute.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete what we hold about you. Email info@readysetgoai.com. We will reply within a reasonable time.
Security
We use reasonable measures to protect information, but no system is perfectly secure.
Children
Van Ring is for businesses. It is not meant for children under 13.
Changes
If we change this page, we will update the date above.
